Today I have had to utilise all of one huge squash aside of the bits the frost got to first.  Boo.. Decided to make some soup, just an ordinary ‘run of the mill’  vegetable soup and then inspiration,  yes…  risotto . It was great, and will definately make it again! Now, must try to find a better way of storing our vegetable squash through the frost.  This year I think I’ll  try to make a wire cage and  line with straw placed in the outside shed and see if that will work .
